A Life in Sound

Decades of vinyl, systems, and listening exploration. Introduced early to the world of quality audio through his father’s love for music, he developed a deep fascination with analog sound reproduction, tube amplification, and the emotional power of high-end systems.

The Art of Collecting

Over the years, he has become a dedicated collector of rare and refined audio components, personally designing and assembling listening systems with one purpose only: the pure enjoyment of music.

Music that fills the space, recreates the feeling of a live performance, and brings the listener closer to the original recording.

A Philosophy of Sound

His philosophy is rooted in authenticity, naturalness, and emotional connection — values that led him to embrace tube-based amplification systems and, ultimately, to the exclusive representation of THÖRESS in Greece.

For Nicholas Doukas, THÖRESS is not just a brand, but a perfect alignment of philosophy: musical truth, purity of sound, and uncompromising craftsmanship.

A Mission to Share

His mission is to share this way of listening — a deeply immersive experience that captivates, moves, and transports the listener beyond the act of hearing into the act of feeling.

For Nicholas Doukas, THÖRESS is not just a brand, but a perfect alignment of philosophy: musical truth, purity of sound, and uncompromising craftsmanship.
